@corbe That was great. Perfect illustration of what the guys in my last posting were on about with Computer DAWS auto correcting every bit of time by snapping tracks to grid, pitch correcting them and auto adjusting the volume of every note, though that's not exclusively a computer sin. Engineer/producers have been over compressing recordings for decades before DAWs to make them louder than the next cut.
THIS is the blues.
I miss the days of tape recorders in the studio, when musicians had to actually Play their instruments - like this - rather than type in the whole performance. This is alive. You know it's people breathing and leaning into it.
The computer stuff isn't.
