  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
Rudy Giuliani stated Thursday morning that Attorney General Jeff Sessions should “step in and close” Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

“Everybody forgets, the basis of the case is dead,” the former New York City mayor said on Fox and Friends. “Sessions should step in and close it. And say ‘enough’s enough.’”

Giuliani, an ex-U.S. attorney and a new addition to the president’s legal team, reiterated the White House’s contention that there is “no evidence” the Trump campaign colluded with Russia. The former mayor also criticized the Justice Department and the FBI’s treatment of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

On Monday, a list of questions leaked that Mueller planned to ask the president should he be allowed to interview him. When asked about them, Giuliani was dismissive.

How much more before Müller's budget is tapped out?  Müller just added yet another Democrat hack lawyer to join his team on the taxpayer dime.  There has got to be a limit somewhere.

Lawrence Walsh ended up spending $71 trying to get Bush Sr. on something.  Trump needs to draw the line somewhere and place a limit on what Müller can spend.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

??  I wasn't aware that the President had authority on the DOJ's budget or any budget.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Since Giuliani came on board the President’s legal team on April 20 and said his goal was to resolve the Mueller probe in “a week or two”, it should be resolved today (if Giuliani achieves his objective).  Of course, Giuliani may not have counted on himself adding fuel to the investigative fire.  Trump’s legal team does seem to be the gang that can’t shoot straight.
I adore facts and data and abhor lies and liars.

The legislature appropriates the money.  The executive decides how it will be spent (or not spent).  I seriously doubt that Congress micromanaged Mueller's budget appropriation.

In our balance of powers, the Executive Branch is solely in charge of spending (or not spending) the money appropriated by the Legislature.  That is why the Executive Branch is lastly responsible for deficit spending, because they do not have to spend the money that Congress appropriates.  (See:  EPA Superfund)
