A Leftist Core Belief: Denying Evil

A fundamental problem with leftists is their refusal to believe that some people embrace evil.

The leftist idea that anyone who isn't directly opposing the left can't be evil, only misguided, underlies many key leftist policies.

Take gun control.  It's premised on the idea that people don't kill people; guns do.  But we know that removing guns does not stop evil men from murder; contrary to the leftist's deeply held belief, Cain didn't murder Abel with an assault rifle.  After all, if some men weren't evil, why would Great Britain now be starting to control knives?

Oh, the left most definitely believe in evil...they believe all people to the right  of Lenin are evil.
Not quite that bad, but a great majority of people who call themselves liberals certainly believe all conservatives are evil. Why else would they, conservatives, fail to go along with the liberal/left agenda?
 Why do conservatives not condemn capitalism and  the evil one percent who have all the money.
 Why don't conservatives love people with weird sexual predilections which might eventually include having sex with  plant life and animals?
Why do many conservative, white people fail to acknowledge their virulent racism and determination to keep all non-white people down?  Conservative white people should just admit to their Klan membership and be done with it.
That's right.....a great many liberals do believe in evil....Evil Conservatives.
