Conway: Trump to Start Monthly Appearances on 'Fox & Friends'

The day after President Donald Trump’s at-times rambling appearance on the “Fox & Friends” morning cable show, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said it could become a monthly gig. Maybe more.

"The president had a great time bringing his case directly to the American people," Conway said. "The president has said that he would like to perhaps come once a month and as news breaks."

I like that he chose a relatively friendly venue. Republicans usually give credence with their presence to the most hostile news outlets.

Bringing the message to the American people would be an address from the oval office or a monthly Q&A with the media in the WH press room.

A monthly phone in softball chat with Fox and Friends is just talking to people who will already vote for him for the most part.

Yeah, because the Networks would give the President time for that Oval Office address and taking a bunch of questions from a crying hysterical Jim Acosta are worth peoples time. Those ideas are a dead letter office.

Trump is making a smart move here. It's a fairly high rated one of these shows. He is also good at these phone interviews having listened to him for years on Stern.
