Imagine a combination of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and you've got Kamala Harris, the current seat-warming senator from California who, like Obama, is using the World's Greatest Deliberative Body as a resume-puncher before swiftly moving on to bigger things: the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination. Even as a nobody senator, she's been the subject of dozens, perhaps scores of speculative stories about her future, so now -- lest they build her up too quickly -- Politico and other Democrat cheerleaders are cautioning her to get her ducks in order before heading out on the hustings:

Come 2020, Kamala Harris will probably have Corey Booker as her running mate ( Double threat ) and advocate a socialist platform ( Bernie will be too old by then, but his platform will be adopted ).

Be prepared for "Medicare for all", "Free college tuition for all", "Legalization of all illegals" to be payed for by huge tax increases. remember, this woman is from Oakland, California.... the epicenter of all these progressive initiatives.

I think I heard something similar being said of Barack Obama in 2006. They also dismissed him because of the "natural born" issue. Kamala has the same issue. She was born in the USA but her parents were not Americans then ( Mother, a Tamil and Father a Jamaican ).

Exactly.   And we Conservatives are stuck in the middle and out in the cold, since neither party accepts us....and in fact, loathes us and seeks to silence us all (See: latest attack on Hannity).

As for us becoming Weimar.... things may very well collapse like they did in Germany... but our nation is rich in resources and the ability to recover quickly from such a collapse...I believe.  That is... UNLESS we have stupidly put someone like Obama in charge again.  Someone that not only collapses our economy deliberately and with intent, but deliberately keeps it collapsed.

He has actually tried to do what he said he would. He has been terrible at getting legislation done, but he did support repeal of obamacare. He did push for immigration reform and a wall. He has gotten more funding for the military. He has appointed judges we believe will be conservative, although I am beginning to worry about Gorsuch. He did get tax reform and cuts done.

So unlike the Pub party in Congress he has actually been closer to fulfilling his campaign promises then they have. They just lied to us.

Also, his foreign policy has been surprisingly good. Who knows what will happen with NK, but it looks like it might get resolved peacefully. The middle east alliances have changed and actually moving our embassy to Jerusalem will be a big step forward in recognizing it is Israel's capital. We are finally starting to confront China.

I didn't vote for him because I don't like his brash, bullying style and the outlandish lies he told about his Pub challengers. I don't really care if he directs his venom at the Rats or the media. They are all scum anyway.

I always vote for the most conservative that I believe can win, in the primary. Then always vote for Republicans in the general (since that would be the more conservaive outcome).

Not voting and 3rd parties are out entirely for me. Of course I encourage democrats to not vote, or vote for their 3rd parties.

I have noticed that as well @SirLinksALot.  The democrats were once a party that was composed of people who were liberal but not mean and crazy.  All that changed with Obama. 

The MSM and Hollywood support stuff we hate.  Cultural change for the worse.  A lower class that refuses to better itself and wants handouts from the government.  Welcoming committees for illegals that drain our resources and commit crimes.

And now, they do not have a single candidate with good credentials.  They are flailing around trying out Oprah, Corey Booker, this gal ... they may even try to spruce up Chelsea.

Ignorance is probably our worst enemy.  It's been proven so many times that socialism never turns out well for the people.  It's also been proven that free enterprise and capitalism have made American people well off, on the whole.  None of these people have anything resembling a clue.  I just hope they are too lazy to vote.
