Democratic Party sues Russia, Trump campaign and Wikileaks over election

ABC11 4/20/2018

The Democratic National Committee has sued President Donald Trump's campaign, his son, his son-in-law, the Russian Federation and WikiLeaks, saying they conspired to help Trump win the 2016 presidential election.

The DNC filed the lawsuit Friday in federal court in Manhattan. It seeks unspecified damages and an order to prevent further interference with DNC computer systems.

The lawsuit says Trump and his associates had relationships with Russia that enabled creation of a Trump-Russia conspiracy.

The DNC says Russia "mounted a brazen attack on American democracy" beginning with a cyberattack on its computers.

The Democratic Party on Friday sued President Donald Trump's presidential campaign, the Russian government and the Wikileaks group, claiming a broad conspiracy to help Trump win the 2016 election.

The multi-million-dollar lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court says that "In the Trump campaign, Russia found a willing and active partner in this effort" to mount "a brazen attack on American Democracy."

The suit says that "preexisting relationships with Russia and Russian oligarchs" with Trump and Trump associates "provided fertile ground for [the] Russia-Trump conspiracy."

I like it.  I think it's going to make it clear that there was no Russian collusion to help Trump win the presidency, and it might even show some collusion on the other side.  I think the dems have may have made the fatal mistake of believing their own propaganda.

Nothing will come out of this.... but there's a purpose behind what they are doing.

The MAIN purpose of this meritless lawsuit is to give the leftist media a hook to keep the words “Trump”, “Russia”, “WikiLeaks” & “collusion” in the same headline for years.

They know the Mueller investigation is going nowhere and it is becoming even clearer that "collusion" that was going on were those of the DOJ, FBI and the Clinton campaign.

So what do they do? They need a replacement hook ... hence this lawsuit.
