Schiff: Ryan leaving because Washington is in ‘complete shambles’

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said early Thursday that Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is leaving Congress in part because GOP leadership has reduced Washington to "shambles."

"I think part of the reason he's leaving is the way the GOP has run Washington over the last couple over the years, it's in complete shambles," Schiff said on CNN's "New Day."

The ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee added that pressure to "basically end the Russia investigation" was too much for Ryan to handle.

"It's dragging the GOP down, and they'll pay for it in the midterms," Schiff says.

Let's see what happens to you clowns if you take the House and then don't deliver for you base who you have riled up and fit to be tied. You guys are making a lot of big promises that are not going to be done, namely Impeachment doesn't remove a President. You think your base understands that? I think not.

   As wrong as it is/was Earmarks seemed to be the grease that turned their wheels.  I'm not so sure @Frank Cannon that McConnells Senate couldn't come up with the 67 votes needed to Convict Trump if it came to that.

Horseshit Adam.  Ryan and others are 'leaving' because they adopted your party's agenda as their own and have sealed the fate of their leadership and power come November.  They don't want to be seen presiding over the absolute collapse and repudiation from their own membership and the bulk of voters come Fall.
