Beto O'Rourke says evidence supports impeaching Trump

Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas), who is running for Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-Texas) seat in November, said Monday he’s seen enough evidence that he would vote to impeach President Trump.

“I’ve seen an attempt, no matter how ham-handed, to collude with a foreign government in our national election. I’ve seen an effort to obstruct justice in the investigation of what happened in the 2016 election,” O’Rourke said on KFYO radio in Lubbock when asked if he thought there was enough evidence to call for the impeachment of the president.

The Democratic lawmaker blasted Trump as lacking the “fitness, or competence or judgment” to serve as president.

As a Senator he can't vote to impeach.   

He would only get a vote on the trial following impeachment by the House.

It's a redundant statement anyway. There is no Democrat anywhere in America in any office or capacity who would NOT vote for impeachment. This is the same as a butcher declaring that yes, he does eat meat or a baker who admits that he likes bread.

Exactly, and as a Jurist he should be Impeached for prejudging the case before it's been presented by the House Managers.

Hey, didn't Trump say he was going to primary Cruz? So isn't Trump partly responsible for creating this void to be filled?

And what law exactly is Beto claiming Trump broke? "Collusion" isn't a crime in of itself.

Laws don't matter.  Impeaching Trump just because the Rats get the house would amount to the equivalent of a "Vote of No Confidence" in a European parliament.  The Rats will just make up the "High Crime or Misdemeanor" that they think will wash with their base.

The Rats, just like that Hogg brat, are a bit confused about how are Republic is supposed to operate.
