Hogg to take gap year to work on midterms, help educate new voters

Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg is planning to take a gap year after he graduates from high school to work on the midterm elections and help educate new voters.

His mother, Rebecca Boldrick, told CNN that Hogg had been accepted to the University of California, Irvine.

But she said he "will not be going to college this year because he's decided to take a year off and work on the midterm elections."

Hogg plans to work to "get people to vote," his mother said.

We used to call his kind "losers" back in the day.

But I guess today a Legend like Boss Hogg and an out-of-work bum look an awful lot a like.

The only thing comparable about this clown and the character on Dukes is his name.  Boss Hogg may have been the villain of the show, but he was a wealthy landowner.  He had to have been a success along the way, so he was hardly a "loser."   :laugh:

At the moment, it looks like it's going to be a long gap.  Last I heard, he hasn't returned to school, and if not he's going to have to bully his way through the School Board when they tell him he's not graduating with his class.

It's certainly not a path that leads to UCLA.  But, as @Wingnut says, he's too cool for school.  He figures he has a career in the job of "activist."  He may have something there, look how far it's gotten Al Sharpton on very little schooling.  At this point, ol' Al may end up with more than Davey.  All at least graduated high school a did a year or two of college.

Folks, I WANT to see incidents like this occur in the United State Congress:


And in other levels of government, as well.

I WANT to see politicians there who will literally FIGHT when traditional American beliefs and morals are attacked by the left.

Let me repeat -- this is what we WANT and NEED to see.

Until we do, expect things in DC to just keep getting worse.
