Because mental health isn't medical. It's political.

It establishes arbitrary norms with diagnostic goalposts that are always moving depending upon the patient.

Ask any of these quacks for the Lab Reports on their patients. They can't provide them because there aren't any blood tests, DNA tests, brain scans etc that can identify Any of their Opinions of a disease/disorder/illness.

Psych is the medicalization of the politics of Godless Collectivism and at one point "An unnatural preoccupation with religion" was an admitted 'Mental Disorder'.

Stuff going on in the brain, can have several causes. Physical, electro-chemical, experiential, etc.

For example if the brain's ventricles overfill with fluid, place excess pressure on the brain organ, it can cause physical and behavioral changes.

NPH=normal pressure hydrocephalus.

It impacts walking gait, urinary problems, memory/cognition. 

Can be treated with a shunt, which drains excess fluid, relieving pressure, and usually restores some of the previously lost functionality. I hope.
