Orange County is considering two proposals to fight back against California's so-called sanctuary law for immigrants. The backlash to the state's effort to protect immigrants from stepped up deportations under the Trump administration comes a week after a small city voted to seek to exempt itself from the law.

They shouldn't have to do this but good for them sticking up for themselves.  The law itself is illegal.

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.
