Someone isn't happy with Daddy. That's what she gets for putting her hope in Big Brother.

Quote
Right-wing pundit Ann Coulter has gone from defending to attacking President Donald Trump due to his failure to secure funding for a long-promised wall on the southern border.
After initially suggesting Trump would be impeached on Twitter after details of the omnibus bill emerged, the author of E. Pluribus Awesome: In Trump We Trust lashed out again during a speaking engagement at Columbia University Tuesday night.....

Let's see. She pimps for Christie, then hates him. Pimps for Romney and then hates him. Pimps for Trump and then hates him.

She is the definition of a mental case.

She has been brutal on Trump and he deserves every blow she has landed. It was "The Wall" that
got Trump elected. "The Wall" might be Trump's "Read My Lips" issue if he doesn't get it funded this
year.

And to think, she got screwed by Trump and didn't even get a $130K payout (that we know of).

One of Ann's better tweets

So Stormy says she and Trump had sex only once. I guess if you want the guy to screw you
repeatedly, you have to be one of his voters.

I can’t wait to see the NT’s who called Ann every name in the book when she wrote In Trump We Trust come out now lauding her.

Anyone with intelligence was on to her before Trump even threw his hat into the ring.  She's no conservative.  She's only in it for the mammon.

I'm not an NT, but if I thought she was crude and hyperbolic before, why wouldn't I think she is now also?

Some of us think she’s just nuts. (In love with Christie?? Seriously Ann???)

When she’s not hawking a book, she’s irrelevant. When she is saying outrageous things to get herself on TV, she’s pathetic.

Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wonder if she's peeved because she wanted him to, ahem, take such an interest in her, but he didn't.

Coulter needs to do a pivot and make it really good so her next book won't tank.

@aligncare

I don't know why anyone would laud a woman who said she didn't care if Trump performed abortions in the White House.  That single statement was enough to prove she's a garbage human.

I knew he was a shallow, lazy ignoramus, and I didn’t care.---Little Annie Fanny at Columbia about Donaldus Minimus.

I’d be pretty disappointed. I might even be tweeting nasty things about our president. He’s been completely feckless.---Mickey Kaus, the neoliberal blogger against
whom Little Annie Fanny faced off at that Columbia forum, when asked how he'd feel now if he'd written a book called In Trump We Trust in 2016. (Kaus actually
voted for Donaldus Minimus, his first known Republican vote.)

Nah, never was a fan, before, or during Trump.
Won't be after.
She was for Romney.
She was for Christie.
When she realized Trump would be the nominee, she went all in for him, and she had a brilliant idea to put Portman on the ticket as Veep (remember him?).
Looking at her history of candidates she likes, I'd say she's not a conservative.

Ann uses wild words to get attention to sell her newest book.  That's really all she believes in, saying whatever to sell the next book.

Does she remind you of any Presidents?  :silly:

She's not any kind of "political animal."  She's a "gadfly."

Yes, Little Parade Boy does the same, "That's really all he believes in, saying whatever to get what he wants."  Neither one has core beliefs; they make it up as they go.

The very definition of "rudderless."  I used to like Ann, but she jumped the shark for me just a few years after 9-11.

Has anyone here ever read one of her books?  I'm wondering what kind of content she writes.  Does she even come off as a conservative?

I read "Slander."  It had a good chapter about Joe McCarthy.  The book was a lot better then the stuff she says.

(I changed the name of the title after I saw @AbaraXas post below and I checked my bookshelf)

Wouldn't waste my money on her............... before her Trump idiocy, or afterward.......

Some of her older books. Slander was decent. With How to Talk to a Liberal, she started delving more and more into hyperbole. I've downloaded a few others and found them to start to evolve into more and more of a parody of Conservativism. Her more recent ones like Demonic (the last one I downloaded was Adios!) are almost written like if Bill Maher (who she used to date) was writing a parody of what he thought Conservatives were like. Mugged and Adios! cross the line into racialism in a pretty overt way. One would be hard pressed to argue someone like Steve Sailer or Jared Tailor didn't co-write it. Those disgusted me to her.

Her writing style is mainly a collection of data pulled from LexisNexis and collated into talking points.  She is good a turning a witty phrase so it can be quite entertaining.  However, over time, it becomes apparent that she does not live according to the principles she espouses and that is where it all falls flat.  She is one of many that applied the conservative "formula" to their work in order to maximize profits but I'm sure that ship has sailed for the most part so good luck to her in the future.

I have purchased and read her books in the past and even seen her speak in person but I would never do so again.

Language alert- this was pretty prophetic for the time. (I won't embed it here because of the language but you can follow the link).

Glad I didn't read any of the newer ones they sound pitiful.  I think High Crimes and Treason were the only ones I read.  I got to meet her at an event and she seemed nice enough but that was back around 2001.  I wouldn't go anywhere near her now.
