Last Monday, January 22, the Supreme Court of New York State rendered a judgement in the case of Mohamed Albanna, city councilman-elect and convicted felon. In a long-awaited decision, the court ruled that Albanna, who, in 2006, pleaded guilty to the federal crime of operating an unlicensed money transmitting business, is thus “ineligible to assume the office of 1st Ward Councilman in the City of Lackawanna.”

Albanna was convicted in 2006 and sentenced to five years in federal prison for illegally sending more than $3 million to his home country of Yemen.

Hmmmmm,  Terrorist do things like that to fund other terrorists.
