FBI identifies man killed in fiery crash at Travis Air Force Base

(KCRA) —

Officials have identified the man who drove through the main gate of Travis Air Force Base and died in a fiery crash.

Hafiz Kazi, 51, was found dead Wednesday night inside of the vehicle after it crashed on the base, the FBI said Friday.

The crash happened around 7 p.m. The FBI said officials at the main gate saw a vehicle coming toward the gate and flames inside. The vehicle then went through the gate and crashed.

I was so sure that his name was going be something like Joseph Thomson.

Who would ever suppose that another crazy Muslim would do such a thing?

Could we kindly learn if the FBI had this person "on their radar," as they so often do?

And if we learn they did not, then the question is why didn't they?

The name Abdul Hafeez is an Arabic baby name. In Arabic the meaning of the name Abdul Hafeez is: One who serves the master.
