Precisely. Just as Newt himself did back in the day, the Dems are seeking to nationalize this election - by making it a referendum on President Trump. We need to also nationalize the election, but on our own terms. To preserve the recovery and jobs, to create the conditions for business to flourish, by presenting the choice between growth and malaise, between the opportunity state and the welfare state. Congressional candidates need to pound home these themes, and President Trump has to once and for all act like the race is NOT about HIM, but rather the pro-growth POLICIES that help every working American, and which are in danger of being reversed by a socialist tide which is ONLY attractive to many Americans because it is being obscured behind a vaneer of "resistance" to the President and his rather obnoxious personality.
Nationalize it with fear that the democrat party is becoming like California, the party which places illegal immigrants and homeless druggies, above citizens and voters. Examples abound.
Even plenty of graphic images, of homeless campsites, needles and trash.
The same political positions that coddle homelessness, coddle illegal immigrants.
Ask the question nationally: Do you want your district, your state to be more like California? If you do, then elect the democrats...because that is their direction and plan.
