I'm confused. How, exactly, does it go against everything we heard (and know) about him? He is brash, no BS tolerated, unconventional and certainly not a "follower of precedent or tradition" in his methodology.
It’s not that he fired them - it’s how. He waited until Comey was across the country in CA, giving a speech. He learned about it on TV. Similarly, he tweeted and made sure he was far away before he called Tillerson. That’s not bold or brash, it’s gutless. He had reasons to dismiss each, but did it in the most feeble way possible.
Will the world keep turning? Of course. However, I’m fed up with the sycophants talking about how ballsy he is, when it’s so demonstrably false. Many of us warned about his duplicity before the election and are vigilant of it now, but get accused of all manner of things. If we sound strident at times, it’s to be heard above the din of adulation.
