This woman was the inspiration for "The Girl from Ipanema."  Wow, she's still so gorgeous!

Not at all, except for enjoying decades of the music, the story, etc.

The woman I posted, is said to be the "girl" in the song. I simply found her life story interesting.

My wife and I just celebrated our 50th anniversary, too.

Earlier this morning, my wife said "play Frank Sinatra" in memory of her mother who died last May.

That is how I surf the net sometimes. I just go for a wander, so to speak.

Correct. And she has had a career as a successful model, a 51 year marriage and three daughters more beautiful than her.

Oh and a lucky husband, too. But my interest started with the Bossa Nova style jazz music of the 1960s.

One of my college room mates was a Coronet playing music major, and he turned me on to great stuff. Like Stan Getz, and Hugh Masakela.

Oh my. Now I have got women here, helping with posts of pretty, older women !!
