You know, I never saw the "super smart" obama get this kind of a reaction from any foreign leader.

Trump deserves credit for changing the approach with North Korea. He's taken a lot of criticism for it, but North Korea is reacting in a positive way. Lets hope real change can be accomplished.

No kidding.  Obama was encouraging NK.

But that article on Trump not understanding who he was speaking with is a slightly concerning, so like I said, I hope someone helps him.

Wasn't he just explaining a few weeks ago to Tillerson that talking to Rocket Man was a 'waste of time'?
I have to break down, soon and read 'The Art of the Deal.

Who would have thought that Reagan would have met Gorbachev and even would have visited the Soviet Union when he was elected?  The Left thought he was a "reckless Cowboy" who would get us all nuked.

On top of that he killed a treaty with Gorbachev that gave us everything we wanted, except the Soviets demanded we end "star Wars" missile defense. Ultimately the evil empire collapsed.

Pres. Trump has changed the approach with North Korea and it seems to be working.

It's going to be a scream when Kim hands Trump a dotard button.

I wouldn't be concerned, if it's true. All the "really smart insiders" know the names, offices and protocols but they never accomplish much. Pres. Trump is not a good speaker and probably doesn't have a great knowledge of issues, but he understands big concepts, doesn't doubt himself, and won't back down from a fight. He understood that North Korea is quickly becoming a direct threat to the USA and that the only way to deal with an adversary is to make it clear you will destroy them if they go to far.

That's the cool thing about the book; it never ends.  It's like one of the choose your own adventure books.  To read the description of sex with Storm turn to Page 169.  To read about asset forfeiture without due process turn to page 53.

For all of you better happy with the stream of consciousness handling of immigration, gun control, tariffs, and possibly North Korea - you will be ecstatic when his next project is renegotiating the national debt.

I did too, but probably not for the same reason.

Ditomassi said about the game's failure, "The game was just nailed to the shelf." Ditomassi felt that one reason for the game's poor sales was that customers were unaware of its revenue being partially donated to charity: "They felt perhaps this was going to be something that a millionaire would make some money on." The game's television commercial was changed to include a new voice-over which stated: "Mr. Trump's proceeds from Trump: The Game will be donated to charity." However, sales of the game failed to increase.

Okay, I may be #NeverCorbe, but I am willing to give him credit when his tiny little hands come up with a decent post.

Instead of a televised addressed to the nation or a press conference in the stately East Room, the news ultimately was delivered by a South Korean national security official standing on the White House driveway.

I'm guessing giving the speech outside in the dark was done to make any North Koreans watching feel more included.

In spite of we always being at war with Eurasia, slowly but surely, as I drop my #NeverTrump stain here, so shall @InHeavenThereIsNoBeer drop his #nevercorbe, there's hope for humanity after all.

By the time Reagan visited the Soviet Union, they made a lot of concessions and on the verge of falling apart.

Since the beginning of this century, there has been a collaborative effort between Iran and North Korea in missile and nuclear technology.  They've used each other to outflank inspections and advance progress.  Iran was handed plans for a warhead in an unbelievably foolish operation.  North Korea had access to the plutonium.  Iranian researchers did the complex work on implosion technology.  The final challenge is construction of a reliable long range delivery vehicle.  Anyone believing these partners aren't up to something in the events surrounding NK's sudden willingness to talk hasn't been paying attention for the last 18 years.
