Republicans have lost all patience with AG Jeff Sessions and his unwillingness to investigate the many scandals of the previous administration. He is totally worthless and if he had a shred of dignity would resign so that a real AG can take over to go after the bad guys.

There seems to be little if any difference between Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch or Jeff Sessions. One of those who has completely lost his patience with Sessions is the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Devin Nunes.

There is a reason we call all the creatures in D.C. the 'Uniparty' or the Oligarchy.

When corruption is institutionalized and the very seeds and mechanisms of our 'fundamental transformation' are sown into the very fabric of every single government agency - the idea that arresting those who were and are engaged in treason, vice, graft and corruption can be achieved by using a corrupted institution itself - is absurd.

The 'Deep State' is what it is become for a reason.

Did we think the Investigations by Issa into Benghazi were anything more than kabuki theater?

Sessions is doing what he is being told to do.  NOT by Trump.  But by the real power in D.C.

Besides, Sessions is too busy trying to crucify medical marijuana users and expanding Civil Asset Forfeiture to grow the state into Highwaymen to be bothered by high treason.

The people in government, politicians and civilians, are terrified that one of them may actually be prosecuted and be sent to prison. They are afraid this would establish a precedent that may come back to bite them in the end.

All of them, both parties, want to maintain the idea that people working in D.C. are untouchable and above the law. Because of essentially universal corruption which touches everyone in one way or another, once one of them goes down, they are all in trouble.

This is why they are all protecting Hillary. Their protection of Hillary is not necessarily about Hillary. By protecting her, and Holder, and Lerner, and all the rest, they are protecting themselves.
