Interesting.  I don't see a price, nor the "yellow box" that tells how to get it, etc.

Wow...did they just remove this one?  It's now not showing up on a search of "Mossberg MMR", either.

You will find the whole gamut here. https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php  And not likely to beat their prices. I have bought a couple firearms from them. No problems. Turned a friend unto them and he went nuts, has probably bought 6 or 8 guns from them.

Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightning, they want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters.

It will require the FFL transfer at a local store. Folks will want to check their policy on that, because it can sometimes be a significant upcharge. Shop around.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Every firearms sale, non-private, requires a ffl transfer. Buds gun does not charge for it, and they have a list of already approved FFL on their site.

A FFL transfer should cost in the $25.00 to $50.00 range btw, average in my area is $30.00. If the FFL wants more, use someone else on the list at Buds. Likely you will save more than that on not paying sales tax.

It is good they provide a list, because some places I’ve seen charge $100, or more. That’s absurd.

Right, the lowest one here is  $15.00. I just worked for a man who is a private collector. He has an FFL and said he would transfer for free for me.

Anyways, Buds is for real. Their list is extensive, they have the ones in every area who will take make the transfer without you needing to ask them listed with a green flag. I think they even have the price the FFL charges listed.

Two things... pay the extra for the insurance, and inspect your firearm before the transfer. Buds will unconditionally take it back at no charge to you if you deem it unacceptable. After transfer if there are problems, they work with you.

Seem to be decent folk. They sell a lot of firearms.

I have purchased ammo from them.  I had a 10mm and ammo was hard to find locally.  When I did, it was expensive.  They had a good deal on Winchester SXT.  No problems with shipping, I just had to be there to sign when it arrived.

Here are my two best ammo sites.

https://www.midwayusa.com/

https://www.sgammo.com/

That latter one is 40 miles from my house. To bad they do not allow personal pickup.

P.S.  A tip on the ammo, request they "hold it at dock" and you can go to the shipper and sign when you pick it up. If hanging out at your house all day is a problem.

Here's a preview:

Check out the Glock 18, fully automatic 9 mm.  This means that any 9 mm Glock would be illegal.

I caught Feinstein's big smile after this ... it reminded me of Schumer's smile after the bipartisan meeting with the President on DACA/Immigration.   88devil

Yeah, I too am going with the ..."Let out enough rope" theory on this. They'll take off like mad dogs on a short chain...... "Sure, sure....add repealing the Second in there"

Feinstein is looking to get something big done.  She is in danger of being primaried.

I appreciate your efforts, @Right_in_Virginia, but I don't know how anyone can come back from this.  This is way too clear and egregious.

The efforts of the pro-Trump crowd to wish away his liberalism are quite remarkable.

So what do people in the know recommend for an economical one?

Though the Mossberg recommended elsewhere is quite nice be sure to also look at the Smith & Wesson M&P Sport 2.  The M&P Sport sort of pioneered the big manufacturer affordable AR platform and the 2 model is an improved version of a very reliable and reasonably priced ($549-$579-ish) rifle.

Thanks @XenaLee I feel all better now. I was saving my promise to vote for Trump in 2020 till after the mid terms but I may have to pull that out earlier for Her affirmation and affection.

Denial, denial, denial.  Yes, quite remarkable!

  • Well-behaved women seldom make history.
I actually got one of those for Christmas.
When I first saw that ad on TV for it, I thought it was a joke.

I was about to ask what this was.  But I found it, and now I want one!  I may not be ready for a real gun, but I can start here and shoot my son if he doesn't finish his homework!

Nice!
Been so rainy around here lately, it's been tough, but I see this weekend looks good.
Kroger had brisket at $1.49 a pound the other day.
I should have bought one and thrown it in the freezer.

(I know, I know, I am off topic, but I get to use my new "a-salt" rifle!)

It's sunny today, and I'm so glad.  Been cloudy and rainy for weeks!
