Quote
Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) communication director Ian Walters sparked controversy with a racially charged insult hurled at former RNC chair Michael Steele on Friday night.

"We elected Mike Steele as chairman because he was a black guy, that was the wrong thing to do," Walters told hundreds of conservatives during the conference's Ronald Reagan dinner as guests at tables gasped in shock....

Bunch of twits.

CPAC is not conservative and does not represent true conservatives.  The mere name is false advertising.

Don't be too quick to condemn CPAC, since their 2016 straw poll winner was Sen. Ted Cruz.

The article appears in BI which is owned by leftist billionaire Jeff Bezos, to whom ALL THINGS conservative are evil, and therefore any chance to sow discord is an opportunity.

Finding useful idiots to repost that discord, is evidenced, here.

So, who does if not this organization dedicated to the advancement of Ted Cruz?

CPAC is has always been a mixed bag. A lot of good, some bad thrown in. I am waiting to see how they respond to determine trajectory.

Big deal. Prior to that they picked Ron Paul religiously.

BTW Micheal Steele was a Bush backed affirmative action hire. He ruined the party with his bullshit and had no business in the position. Hell, all you need to know about him is after his GOP gig he went to work for MSNBC.

I don't care what group it is,  over time, any group gets corrupted, because it involves humans.  Groups are bad things.

Humans are corruptible..... well except for me, I am simply incorrigible.

Walters' comments may have not been well received, but they're not wrong.  Steele was selected as Erlich's Lt. Governor to draw black votes in Baltimore.  He was elected RNC Chairman to criticize Obama without being called a racist.  On his own, he's a lightweight.  He was crushed in a bid for MD US Senator in 2006.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Speaking truth maybe.

Reminds me of a coaching situation at my favorite college.  OSU(Oklahoma State University) hired a average Black Head coach named Simmons (I think).  Well, that got them the advantage with racist players who wanted to play for a Black Head coach.

My fav team OU was on the downslide after Switzer... so they fired whats his name and hired John Blake as head coach.. a former player and position coach. But he was BLLLAAACCCKKKK... lol, what a racist punk Blake was. But he was black and would get black players... racist on every angle.

After a decade of buffoonery Boo Blake was fired, Bob Stoops was hired. Simmons went on to coach at Cu and fade into obscurity.

Oh, as for that racist POS Boo Blake..... on his way out he destroyed all the recruiting files... what a racist punk.... Like Steele.

That was awesome.  You condemned 2 black coaches on a thread that has nothing to do with them, and then slam Steele for being (black?) like them.  Please post more of this brilliance.  You are on a roll.

There is much truth to be spoken about many Republicans. Did Walters single out anyone else?

Actually, I slammed one incompetent black coach hired to offset the hiring of a decently competent black coach.... who was hired to gain advantage with recruiting black athletes.

That you cannot see the analogy, and where the real racism lies in this ...... does not surprise me. There is a certain subset of "conservative" who is blinded by ..... well reverse Uncle Tom is as best as I can put it... carry on Oncler.

What truth but hiring a black to offset the Majic Negro need be said? I think the point is well obvious.

Regardless of those , "conservatives", in need of their fainting couches over this truth.

Right now -- a lot of bad.  Liberal Republicans and now the fringe (alt-right).

Last night, they had security escort Mona Charan out because she called out (rightfully so) their inviting Marie LaPen. That told me what I need to know about their current trajectory.

Last year they kicked out Richard Spencer when he showed up. This year, they invite France's version of Spencer and kick out those who call them out.
