BUENOS AIRES - Argentine police seized a package containing objects adorned with Nazi symbols, the Security Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday, the latest confiscation of such artifacts in the South American country.

The package, which was shipped from the United States to the northwestern Argentine province of Salta, contained four World War Two helmets, a knife, and a figurine of the imperial eagle all displaying swastikas. It also contained three posters with references to the Third Reich, and two rifles, one a replica.

Police raided the home of the individual who picked up the package from a post office, the Ministry said, adding that the person was cooperating with authorities.

With out the symbols for people to see.... people will never know it happened.

Would they seize old Soviet artifacts, considering they butchered about 20X as many people as the Nazis?

LOL, I was thinking along the same lines.
You'd think they would have been use to seeing things like that by now, since the nazis have been there seen WWII.

I'm surprised there weren't enough relics available locally, considering how many nazis were supposed to have skipped out to South America.

Wasn't Argentina a prime retirement spot for Nazi war criminals after their allegiance to the Führer des deutschen Reiches und Volkes waned.
