Democratic Congressman Claims Anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan Is An ‘Outstanding Human Being

Quote
Democratic Illinois Rep. Danny Davis defended Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan as an “outstanding human being” on Monday.

Farrakhan is known for embracing radically anti-Semitic and anti-white views, as even the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center has acknowledged. Farrakhan’s history of racially extreme comments includes blaming Jews for the September 11 attacks, saying white people “deserve to die” and praising Adolf Hitler as a “very great man.”

A bombshell new photo emerged last week, showing former President Barack Obama smiling with Farrakhan at a Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) meeting in 2005. The journalist who took the photo said he suppressed its publication to protect Obama’s presidential aspirations.

Davis, who has been in Congress since 1997, defended Obama for meeting Farrakhan and was open about his own ties to the hate group leader in an interview with The Daily Caller on Monday.

Might be good to remember this guy when the Dems make a big deal out of the Holocaust Denier running in Illinois.  This guy is actually an elected representative in Illinois and is a D of course.

I'm not certain it would have mattered. Look at all the other glaring things that were ignored about him during the 2008 election. It was unbelievable.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Many of the photos came out after the election that should have done it, but you are correct.  He was re-elected anyway.

The point of the article is that there is already a sitting Dem Rep that is a rabid, anti-Jew hater.  When they go venomous to point out that the R’s are “Jew-haters” because of the holocaust-denying Jones guy, they can at least direct a response back at them for their own that WAS elected.

The Jeremiah Wright and 'typical white person' stuff didn't do it.  I knew it was over when McCain said he was a good man and we didn't need to fear him as president.  You could hear the audience groan and feel the energy just dwindle in that moment.

In the re-election, he mocked Romney for his Russia geopolitical enemy characterization.  Somehow, in 2016, they magically became the scourge of the Earth again.

Agreed.

They can’t claim that R party is full of Jew-haters and Holocaust deniers, when they have one duly elected in their own state.
