Man hit trooper's car along I-4 'on purpose,' FHP says

A Daytona Beach man who hit a Florida Highway Patrol trooper's marked patrol car Monday on Interstate 4 in Seminole County said he did it on purpose, an FHP spokeswoman said.

Ryan John Hithersay, 38, faces a charge of aggravated battery on a law-enforcement officer, FHP Sgt. Kim Montes said.

Trooper Joseph Perri, 42, was not badly injured but was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Discussion on the local news radio said that guy was mad at how he had been treated in the past by the police.  I'm sure this act of lunacy will help with that in the future.

Discussion on the local news radio said that guy was mad at how he had been treated in the past by the police.  I'm sure this act of lunacy will help with that in the future.

This might be a reason why this moron was getting treated poorly by the fuzz.
