Rep. Luke Messer: Ending child tax credit for illegal immigrants will help pay for border security

Rep. Luke Messer said Wednesday that eliminating the child tax credit loophole that allowed illegal immigrants to benefit from the policy is part of how Mexico will pay for border security.

“It’s about $30 billion over the next decade. It is part of making sure that Mexico helps pay for security on the Southern border,” Mr. Messer, Indiana Republican, said on Fox News.

He also said Democrats threatening to withhold funding for the border wall are risking protections for recipients of DACA — Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals — those who arrived in the U.S. illegally as children.

That's a start.  Last tax season there were signs in English and Spanish telling how much money they could get for each child.  One nino - $, 2 ninos - $$, etc.  The signs also claimed "no w-2 needed".
