Proof That Democrats Can’t Do Anything Right: CA High Speed Rail Project is BILLIONS Over Budget

America used to be able to build things. Back then we got the Empire State Building and the San Francisco Bridge in less time than it takes to film a movie today. But that  daring-do spirit seems to be a thing of the past and some of the worst evidence of its passing is the gigantic joke that is the billions over budget, and years over due high-speed rail project in California.

Prediction:

The time will come, say, 5-10 years from now, with no money left, that the right-of-way cleared for this project will be converted into "rail-trails", so at least the public will get some use out of them!
