Ronald Reagan gave us his Amnesty of 1986 without correcting chain migration, the root of our present immigration troubles.

Our problem is in the promise of payment on tuesday for a hamburger today during that particular amnesty.
The problem is that it was supposed to come with real and tangible enforcement, and was to be the only amnesty EVER.
I know, I was witness to that particular foray into bipartisanship.
And yet Trump is the problem. But if he does anything good, it doesn't count since he isn't Cruz.
ANYTHING OTHER THAN 'Build the fence, enforce the law', I GUARANTEE is part of the problem.
And further, I will guarantee that any deal done will be another 'payment on tuesday for a hamburger today'... And that Tuesday will never come.
And all y'all will call it 'winning'.
