Sweden: Two injured as hand grenade explodes at Stockholm subway station

Jan 7, 2018 9:18 am By Robert Spencer 6 Comments

“‘There was something on the ground that the man picked up, and then it exploded,’ Sven-Erik Olsson of the Stockholm police told the TT news agency. He added that he suspected the two victims were not purposely targeted by whoever left the explosive.”

Random jihad attack most likely, in that case.

“The Aftonbladet newspaper reported that the blast was from was a hand grenade, though this remains unconfirmed and police have refused to comment on the matter.”

Hand grenades are often associated with criminal gangs in Sweden, not terrorism.  This wasn't in the station, but near a station.  Sounds like it wasn't an intentional attack.
