Well, I get jet lag flying to and from Tampa, and I live in the same time zone. 

I just think it's not the time zones, but the stress and strain of going through security, checking your luggage, trying to retrieve it when you land, connecting flights that require you to go from one gate to another one 10 miles away (and because of a delay in your originating flight, you only have five minutes to get to that gate), lost luggage, renting a car, looking for a shuttle to the hotel, etc. etc.  Non wonder people get tired.

Air travel is stressful and between the airlines and TSA, it is getting more and more stressful.
