The 10 Senate seats most likely to flip in 2018

By Eric Bradner, CNN

Updated 6:09 AM ET, Wed January 3, 2018

Washington (CNN)The most interesting Senate race in 2018 might have nothing to do with whether Republicans or Democrats control the chamber after this year's midterm elections.

The decision Tuesday by Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah to retire teed up Mitt Romney -- the 2012 Republican presidential nominee turned leading intra-party critic of President Donald Trump -- to run for a job that would give him major influence over the remainder of Trump's presidency.

But Hatch is a Republican. Romney is a Republican. And if Romney is stopped, it'll be because another Republican won the nomination in Utah. It'll be a fascinating state to watch -- but it won't tip the partisan balance of the Senate.

The Communist News Network is already pushing fake news trying to sway public opinions.  Republications better be prepared to be "Moored" by this and other fake news outlets.

So CNN has identified 8 Democratic Senate seats and 2 Republican as "most likely to flip":  that certainly doesn't bode well for any Dems predicting/hoping that the Dems can take back both houses of Congress.  They have a much better chance of taking back the House IMO (but even that will be difficult as they'll have to flip something like 35 seats as I recall).

Bob Casey's seat is safe. He has support of the unions which basically run things in PA.

As for Texas -- Beto who?

No chance against Ted Cruz.

If Republicans Moore (aka, O'Donnell/Akin/Angle) themselves, it's their own fault.
