Trump signs tax bill into law

President Trump on Friday signed the sweeping Republican tax bill, enacting his first major legislative accomplishment into law.

The bill’s signing ends the president’s first year in office on a high note.

The president has had some other successes as well, in areas such as rolling back regulations and getting a new Supreme Court justice, Neil Gorsuch, confirmed. But Republicans were unable to repeal and replace ObamaCare, and the headlines over the past year have also at times been dominated by developments in the investigations into Russia's election meddling and by palace intrigue stories about disagreements among Trump's staff.

Now we just have to make sure the Republicans stay in control of the Senate, so this momentum doesn't end with this bill.

For what its worth....  Rush just predicted that the GOP would not lose seats in the next election.  Let's hope that (dare I say it?  I dare!  I dare!!!)....

I'm retired. I have an IRA. I need to get a new car. Should I pull the money out now or should I wait until next year? The Dems are telling me this tax bill will kill me. What am I to do?
