Al Franken still 'weeks' away from resigning his Senate seat

Sen. Al Franken on Wednesday indicated that he'll be sticking around in the Senate into 2018, and said he wants to deliver a series of "final speeches" before he leaves the upper chamber.

On the Senate floor, Franken said he wants to deliver these speeches before he leaves the Senate "in a few weeks."

"I'm taking to the Senate floor to give the first of what will be a series of final speeches, this one focused on my work to improve education on behalf of Minnesotans and all Americans," he said on Facebook.

The longer he waits, the more it damages the Dems. Stay awhile Franken, till they force you out.
