Trump will never be more than a middlingly competent president, around the level of GWB or thereabouts, but not even to the level of Clinton.

Mark Levin has written/spoken a more convincing set of words, calling lingering #nevertrumps to account.

Yeah, drilling on ANWR, among the lesser known features of the measure. Plenty for the democrats, liberals, socialists, communists, and fanatical NTs to whine over for months to come.

Eighty-plus percent of Americans get tax cuts.

These are words of high praise, coming from you.

I have  taken great pain, to avoid personal attacks and to not use filthy profanity (which certain members appear incapable or unwilling to do).

We're all adjusting....

Essentially, the title could have been written as "Never Trumpers admit they were wrong"

I am happy to be wrong, I'll admit it.
That damned twitter thing still drives me nuts.

The CFPB board run by fauxcahontus is a fraud.

Lets end that now.  Lets hold Comey, McCabe and Mueller in contempt of Congress.  Lets get 60 Senators next.

Lets win some more!

LOL. Yeah. Clinton was a real leader. He got all those things he promised in '92 passed like gun control and........and......and that's about it. Good thing that gun ban is still in effect though......wait. That got flushed by Bush? Well never mind.

Maybe he uses it like chum, to draw (distract) them to whatever he wants them to focus on each morning.

And in the meantime, we get regulation cuts, better foreign policy, Judge Gorsuch, defeat of ISIS, tax cuts, Obamacare death rattle,  over 5,000 points on DJIA, higher economic growth etc.

BTW he ALSO uses Twitter to talk directly to Americans, often on important subjects. He leaves much less room for the crooked media to filter, distort, edit his meaning.

I'm an American, and I wish he didn't want to talk to me so much.
LOL, all kidding aside, what you say is true, but sometimes it just goes off weird, the twitter stuff.
He still fixates on Hillary and the election sometimes, things like that I find maddening.

Hey, if this is the biggest gripe I've got, things are looking pretty good.

I hear your complaints and observations. He is unusual. I listen to analyses by Scott Adams, who predicted the win in 2015 and who dubbed Trump as a master persuader.

"Persuader" is more about getting into your head, than simply pleasing you. Examples of Trump "persuasion" include terms like "Low energy Jeb," and "Crooked Hillary," which he calls linguistic kill shots.

On balance, painful as it often is, it works.

He's certainly rewriting the rules on how Pubbies react.  The commies have been making these sorts of Tweets for years, so I really don't fear retribution for what Trump says today.

I suppose it might be too much to ask from the Trump Cheerleading Squad, but can we please stop already with the "never-Trump" epithet employed against anyone who offers the slightest, mildest critique of His Orange Highness?

It's dumb, it's insulting, and it ought to crawl back under the damp rocks that inhabit seamy little propaganda holes like Breitbart.

The fact of the matter is that many of us who don't particularly care for the fellow have been consistent in praising him when he has been right and done good things, and have criticized him when he has been wrong and Tweeted dumb things.

It is true that some Trump critics on the Right cannot seem to bring themselves to praise him for anything - especially elitists like David Frum, who now seems to admire Democrats more than Republicans.

But more to the point - I believe most of us really do deserve to be treated to more than casual insults when we dare to point out that Donny has occasionally, once in a while, every now and then.... been known to, well... defecate the futon.  Cheers!

I do like those tweets...the only ones I cringe at and detest are the ones he makes fun of people...just keep it to politics..

You're brave to make that request. I admire you for that.

But the folks here you're making that humble request to won't even let us have a pleasant conversation with them on this game we agree with without tossing out the NT moniker.

Maybe in 2018 they'll stop being such sore winners.

I'm considering changing my tune, when I see less of the red highlighted stuff. Until then, I'm right up on my high horse, for picking the right guy AND then seeing why I was correct to do so.

--Lower taxes
--Less regulation
--Defeat ISIS
--Gorsuch
--Etc. etc.

And “His Orange Highness”. LOL

How about NT minions, since NTs are the ones making money off the blogs avowing to ensure a Trump failure to the detriment of their country.  Those here are merely their minions to comment on such posts to make themselves feel superior to those of us who chose to vote for him over Hillary.  Well, those without an agenda, of course.  We do have some of them.

Who cares?  To each their own.  I’ll take the win and be happy regardless of the oxygen-deprived snark. ;)

Sorry, just too much negativity enforced this past year here.  Even I fell for the wrong meme that not explicitly ending bamacare would anchor the budget baseline so that tax cuts could not be passed.

Happily, I was wrong.  By including the mandate repeal in the omni-bus spending bill, the positive baseline shift allowed for the tax cuts.

No insurance company will now underwrite bamacare now.  We will now see cost effective health insurance plans being issued and rates start to fall...
