Trump declines to rule out pardoning Michael Flynn

President Trump on Friday refused to say whether he is considering a pardon for former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who pleaded guilty last month to perjury charges and is now said to be cooperating with the special counsel investigation.

"I don't want to talk about pardons for Michael Flynn yet," Trump told reporters shortly before departing the White House to deliver remarks at the FBI National Academy.

"Let's wait and see," he added. "I will say this: when you look at what's gone on with the FBI and this investigation, people are very frustrated."

He's pissed at the FBI for their criminalizing politics, so he's rubbing their noses in it.  Who knows if he'd really do it, but at the moment that's not the point.  I don't think he cares who thinks it's stupid.

It probably won’t come down to a pardon.

Given what we are learning about how this Russia investigation is being mishandled and the unfolding news of FBI corruption at the highest levels, Flynn’s attorneys will probably withdraw Flynn’s guilty plea and ask the charges be dropped. He’s got a good chance the judge will agree to it.

Especially since the Judge who did agree to it recused under suspicious circumstances.

I STILL can't find anything on the reason for the recusal.  Very odd.

Example:  Joe Arpaio.  And the Federal Judge actually toyed with the idea of rejecting that Pardon.
