By GRACE CARR
December 13, 2017

Tina Smith, the Democrat who is poised to take over resigning Sen. Al Franken’s seat, served as the public policy vice president at Planned Parenthood for Minnesota and the Dakotas from 2003 to 2006.

“The choice of Ms. Smith is particularly egregious to Minnesota’s pro-life citizens, who will have no representation in the Senate,” said Minnesota Citizens for Life President Leo LaLonde, according to LifeSiteNews. “Most Minnesotans are pro-life. They support greater protection for unborn human beings. Minnesotans need someone who will fight for justice for the most vulnerable among us, the unborn.”

You may still have him. Despite his wishy-washy promise to resign at some undefined time in the future of his own choosing, he has not given any indication that he is actually going to really leave.

So far, it is just talk. Nothing has happened. Nothing has changed. He is still the Senator.

Good news. Now Jones will have someone to sit with at lunch when he gets there.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Planned Parenthood are puppetmasters of the Democratic party, a few years ago, I saw a main assistant to a Senator was a former PP director. A good reason to take PP down, it's the Democrat party. It's a shame it hasn't been fully defunded though, some progress is being made. Enabling the states to defund it and such.

National Education Association, NEA and whatever other kinds of organizations like this should be defunded.

Planned Parenthood makes political endorsements on top of receiving all of this federal funding. That's downright wrong. I hope she gets tossed out of the Senate come the next election in 2018? Really, Franken had been there that long? It's hard to think so but I guess so. Must have fraudulently come in in 2008.

I've heard Republicans considering running for next year's Senate seat via this Tina Smith are Pawlenty and Michelle Bachmann and others. It would be great if one of them could pull this off. The other seat is also up for grabs I believe, that of Amy Klobuchar. That seat is considered hard to knock off.

Until I see him packing, I don't believe Franken is going anywhere.  What, it's been a week since this rumour has surfaced.  It doesn't take that long for Al to box up his porn.

Meh thinks this was an AL election ruse.

True, but perhaps even less in him.  He's corroded to the core.

It was all extra headlines and faux repentance to increase the pressure on Moore from the bogus allegations. He won't resign, but the show served its purpose and apparently people lapped it up.
