PBS suspends host Tavis Smiley amid sexual misconduct allegations

Longtime PBS host Tavis Smiley has been suspended following an investigation conducted by an outside law firm that found "credible allegations" regarding sexual misconduct.
 
"Effective today, PBS has indefinitely suspended distribution of 'Tavis Smiley', produced by TS Media, an independent production company," a PBS spokesperson said in a statement Wednesday. "PBS engaged an outside law firm to conduct an investigation immediately after learning of troubling allegations regarding Mr. Smiley. This investigation included interviews with witnesses as well as with Mr. Smiley. The inquiry uncovered multiple, credible allegations of conduct that is inconsistent with the values and standards of PBS, and the totality of this information led to today’s decision."

Amen.  He was an affirmative action hire back in the day to darken up the lily white PBS face.   There was no way to get ride of him...till now.  This new "Inappropriate Sexual Behavior" mantra seems leave no particular Race, Color or Creed has immunity.

Actually, I was hoping Smiley would get into trouble for being a racist, but since NPR agrees with his race baiting, that reason would never fly.  The guy has a chip on his shoulder the size of Nebraska.

Really? Do you read much stuff on black websites like The Root? For many black people ALL!!! white people are racists....some are just not quite as racist.
Remember the recent Conyers flap? A black congressman accused his white staff members of being racists.  There is no end to playing the race card for many of those people.
