Official word is she resigned. I found an article from September that indicates she may have been pushed out.

She is a huge fan of the president, was on two editions of "The Apprentice", and Trump gave her a reality dating show when her marriage ended.

Wonder if she has a groping allegation to make.  She seems like a vindictive bitch and a no class ass.

Omarosa fired, ‘physically dragged’ from the White House

By Yaron Steinbuch

December 13, 2017 | 10:05am |

Omarosa Manigault Newman, the former contestant on President Trump’s “The Apprentice,” was fired and forcibly removed from the White House after Secret Service agents blocked her path to his office, according to reports.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued a statement saying Manigault Newman resigned as director of communications in the Office of Public Liaison “to pursue other opportunities.”

“Her departure will not be effective until Jan. 20, 2018. We wish her the best in future endeavors and are grateful for her service,” Sanders said.

If this is accurate, why keep her around for another month?
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Good to see General Kelly continuing to flex his muscle.  The more involved and influential he is, the better IMO.

Very strange.
During the Clinton years, the staff mostly just smoked dope and fooled around. Who knows what is going on in the White House now?!

More tabloid gossip by a media feeding frenzy that has NO standards and NO accountability for anything they report under the cover of the 1st Amendment.  Something has to give.  Not just the media, but accountability for libel and slander.  The laws make it so tough to prove it give free platforms to the media and people like Gloria Allred.

Well at least the excuse isn't the same old "leaving to spend more time with their family" excuse. It's nice every once in a while to have a little variety. We will never know what really happened since you can't believe the WH nor the press. I guess we should just count our blessings and be grateful that she is gone.

Don't believe the original story or the denial.

What exactly did she do in her job?  Or was she another do-nothing like the adult Trump kids and son-in-law.

In 2007, Eric Trump established the Eric Trump Foundation, a public charity with the purpose to raise money for terminally-ill children and cancer patients at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tennessee.[9][10] On November 30, 2012, the foundation committed to raising $20 million over a 10-year period for the naming rights to the new Eric Trump Foundation Surgery & ICU Center in the Kay Research and Care Center, a $198 million tower that was officially opened on February 19, 2015, on the St. Jude campus".[11][12]

People who have met Eric Trump say he’s a nice person, too.

What have you done nice lately?

Severance. I've seen it happen a lot in the corporate world, a person get's fired, even escorted out of the building, but they stay on the payroll and sometimes on benefits for a period of time afterward.

Yes, I know you were. But, you were also taking a cheap shot at Trump’s (highly successful) family.

It’s easy to throw stones, especially when you don’t know what you’re talking about.

It wasn't a cheap shot.  It was a legitimate question.  What qualifies his family members as "advisers" and what exactly do they do?

I don't like presidents appointing or nominating friends, family, golfing buddies, campaign donors, fraternity brothers and the like to positions of authority or positions created just to give them a resume-enhancing title.  It's not just Trump -- every president does it.  Most of them are ill suited for the jobs they are put into and some are being compensated in some manner with our tax dollars for doing nothing beneficial to this country.

As a taxpayer, you should be concerned about this sort of thing.  But maybe, unlike me, you are fabulously wealthy and really don't care where your tax dollars go.

Those so called advisors will get paid no matter who they are, family or not. So...non issue.

A president is entitled to trusted advisors. No one person, no matter how smart, can get their arms around all of the issues this country faces without them. So...who would you trust more than family members?
