I would imagine this is in response to the gripes by the CBC about Conyers going out so fast...and they have pics of Franken.  Failure to treat this eruption with some racial parity would maybe result in Black Democrats wandering from the Plantation, and the Dems can't have that.

Me too. I've had that feeling all day.
My thoughts have been that the DNC released to the press the idea that he was going to resign to pressure him. I doubt that press release actually came from him.


Tomorrow, he's going to apologize and cry and declare how much he regrets what he has done, and how much he respects women and yada, yada, yada.


But when it is all over, he will not resign.
