Trump to appear at campaign-style rally miles from Alabama border as special election looms

President Trump will hold a campaign-style rally in Pensacola, Fla., less than 30 miles from the Alabama border, next week.

The rally is scheduled for next Friday — days before Alabama’s special election for U.S. Senate, according to CNN.

The Republican in the Senate race, Roy Moore, is facing multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

The rally in Pensacola, while not officially on Moore’s behalf, will take place in the Mobile, Alabama, television market just days before the election.   

It wouldn't surprise me if a few Alabamians drive the 20 or so miles to see and hear the President.

   What a complete travesty this whole AL Senate election has become from the get go. Mitch's influence was bad enough, Trump continues to put the icing on the cake.
