Trump calls Warren 'Pocahontas' at event honoring Native American veterans

President Trump on Monday referred to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) as “Pocahontas” at an event honoring Native American “code talkers” who served in World War II.

"You were here long before any of us were here,” Trump said, standing beneath a portrait of former President Andrew Jackson. “Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas.”

Turning to the veterans, Trump said "but do you know what? I like you."

It almost feels to me like we have 6 year old as President. I hate the childish name calling. It belittles the office IMO.  His base may like it, but I don’t think it’s increasing the 46.1% of the vote he got last time.  Sadly, I just don’t think he can help himself.

Bullshit.  He's called Warren "Pocahontas" in the past, it is reasonable for her to think he is again referring to her.  And, Sarah Sanders saying “What most people find offensive is Senator Warren lying about her heritage to advance her career." is proof enough for me that Trump was indeed talking about her.
