Flake: I'll support the Democrat over Moore in Alabama Senate race

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) said Monday that he would support the Democratic candidate in the Alabama Senate special election over GOP candidate Roy Moore.

"If this choice is between Roy Moore and a Democrat, a Democrat,” Flake told reporters Monday in response to a question about who he would support. “For sure.”

Flake’s comments come just hours after Beverly Young Nelson became the latest woman to accuse Moore of sexual misconduct when she was a teenager.

I agree with the editorial posted here. Hold my nose and vote for, well, I'm hoping we see some write-in option myself.

As the South Carolina Senator said let the people of Alabama decide, but,  Tim Scott was troubled by all of this too.

Doug Jones prosecuted the Klan that bombed some church... that is good, the rest of his views though, I disagree with, typical democrat, I don't think Alabama would bend to that.

The GOP has a terrible record on that issue. There are a ton of pro choice GOP house members. Charlie Dent ring a bell? I would also like for you to show me what the GOP has done on the issue except use it as a reelection talking point.

This Arizonan had him pegged years before he went to the Senate, but I couldn't get anybody in the state to listen to me.  Like so many of us, because I only have my one vote I had to watch helplessly as he waltzed to office after office.
