McConnell expects Paul to return to Senate next week

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is predicting that Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) will return to the Senate next week after an altercation with his next door neighbor over the weekend.
"He's on the mend and we expect him back next week," McConnell told reporters in response to a question about whether he'd talked with Paul.
A spokesman for Paul declined to confirm McConnell's comments, saying when Paul returns to Washington is still to be determined.
Neighbors told The New York Times that the feud started due to a dispute over landscaping and yard care. Paul was reportedly mowing his lawn and wearing ear plugs when he was attacked.
