Richard Blumenthal concerned Trump may be colluding with China

Sen. Richard Blumenthal said Tuesday that President Trump may be putting China's interests ahead of America's for financial gain, but did not address his own family's management of the Empire State Building, which like Trump Tower has a Chinese government-linked tenant.

In a call with reporters, Blumenthal said a Chinese bank renting space at Trump Tower in New York is illegal without congressional permission and may be influencing Trump's policy decisions.

“To be really blunt, an arm of the Chinese government is paying President Trump rent for his building, and last year as you all know China granted President Trump 40 trademarks,” the Connecticut Democrat said on a conference call.

Business is Business and money itself has no conscience.

If she's invested in China, yeah, it sucks, but if not her it would still be a whole lot of others.

Back to my stock gripe.

Stop taxing businesses of any size, impose import tariffs as the Constitution provides and China becomes a non-issue.

China collapses without western capital, and our own Military, and Intelligence costs to check their imperialistic/empire building aspirations Also diminish, considerably.

China won't agree with Trump because it's China, not North Korea, that's calling the shots IN North Korea.

I see this as China's response to Trump's threat to re-negotiate the crap TPP which favors China, (and Russia's not part of) and China violates wholesale to fleece us out of our eye teeth.

Nor do I see Putin, up to his own eye teeth in economic doldrums at home, wanting to spend the money to flex Russian muscle into pushing us out of the Pacific/Indian/Australian spheres of influence.

Putin's invested in the middle east. I can't see him dreaming of Gunboat Diplomacy there and the Pacific simultaneously.

Putin's got oil he wants to sell. I don't see China wanting it sold in the Pacific. Vlad would like us out of the Middle East so he can corner a big part of world production.

Break our back by jacking fossil fuel costs up to what gasoline costs in Europe.

And thank God we've got Pruitt at EPA cutting off Federal grants to the tree huggers who are obstructing us drilling our own oil up off our own coasts.

Although small, NK does share a border with Russia.

Putin has made deals with NK to import NK workers... and invited NK leader to Putin's annual Stalinist military "victory" parade.

I doubt he's lost a wink of sleep over it. It's just a detail to him, but ignoring that detail could turn it into a festering sore. Like Being threatened with Nuclear Missile Attacks?
