Upstairs at home, with the TV on, Trump fumes over Russia indictments

President Trump woke before dawn on Monday and burrowed in at the White House residence to wait for the Russia bombshell he knew was coming.

Separated from most of his West Wing staff — who fretted over why he was late getting to the Oval Office — Trump clicked on the television and spent the morning playing fuming media critic, legal analyst and crisis communications strategist, according to several people close to him.

The president digested the news of the first indictments in special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s probe with exasperation and disgust, these people said. He called his lawyers repeatedly. He listened intently to cable news commentary. And, with rising irritation, he watched live footage of his onetime campaign adviser and confidant, Paul Manafort, turning himself in to the FBI.

What a load of shit article. First off WaPo is ALWAYS wrong when they play this unnamed source game and beyond that just who is the leaker when he is in his private residence? Melania? Baron?

Trump reacting to the indictments by "fuming", with "rising irritation", and with "exasperation and disgust" doesn't sound all that unbelievable to me.  In fact, it sounds pretty consistent with many of his public comments on the Mueller Investigation.

Why should he be "fuming" and such if the official word is that these indictments have nothing to do with him? 

I believe that despite his and his press secretary's assurances to the contrary, Trump is indeed concerned about the indictments and worries that they will somehow lead to charges against him.

Well, he could be "fuming" for the reason you provided in your last sentence.  He could be fuming because he considers the Mueller investigation "a witch hunt" that now has indictments and a guilty plea under it's belt.  He could be fuming because of the lack of focus on Hillary and her campaign's involvement with the dossier.  He could be fuming over the lack of focus on Uranium One.  His Tweeter feed provides a pretty good view in his apparent disdain for the Mueller investigation so the fact that he could be "fuming" over it isn't a surprise to me in the least.

So what did Bezos do? It’s no secret. He bought the Washington Post and is using it as a weapon to try and tarnish Donald Trump’s presidency and reputation.
