If there is such a thing as an "astroturf" scandal, this is it.
The whole "Russian collusion" thing appears to have been drummed up by the Dems as a ruse for using the federal government's assets to spy on Trump. Now it is a gift that keeps on giving, as Mueller is using it to go after Manafort on stuff that has nothing to do with the 2016 election.
Of course it is a "win" for the swamp in the sense that it all gives the appearance of a Watergate-sized scandal, when in fact this indictment indicates Mueller has come up empty of evidence, and therefore needs to squeeze someone to get anything that justifies all the money and resources he is using.
Unfortunately, the MSM will paint it the way their liberal target market wants to see it, and so they will tell their suckers that Trump impeachment is just around the corner.
