UK 'won't recognise' Catalan independence

The UK will not recognise the Catalan parliament's decision to declare independence from Spain, Downing Street says.

Theresa May's official spokesman said the declaration was based on a vote that had been declared illegal.

He added that the UK wanted to see the unity of Spain preserved.

The Catalan regional parliament has voted to declare independence from Spain, while the Spanish parliament has approved direct rule over the region.

"Downing Street" would likely oppose Scottish independence, or Cornish Independence, or Welsh Independence.

Downing Street's PM Theresa May, opposed Brexit, too.

I wonder if/when Bavarians will speak up, and vote to leave Germany?

There is virtually no history being taught today. Nobody knows that both Germany and Italy only became fully unified nations in the late 1800s, and then soon thereafter became big problems for millions of dead and injured civilians.

Yugoslavia broke up. Czechoslovakia broke up. Why can't Catalonia break off, too? Or Bavaria?

The globalist imperialists would not be happy about that. Not happy at all.
