Well, thank you for your informative post, stating that grouse shit pecans and that they apparently have the constitutional fortitude not to take that shit for the presumed *months* of travel a voyage from Russia to the nascent US would have taken...

Already have heard one announcement that an employer (hundreds of employees) who's had "Christmas" parties for decades will not even allow Christmas decorations this year.

I worked for a Jewish boss. He has holiday parties with Christmas trees,a  Santa Claus and a menorah. The food had champagne caviar and latkes.

The office had the most beautiful poinsettias and on Christmas Eve employees could take them home.

I worked on Christmas so my colleagues wouldn't have to and got paid triple time plus carried over the day for vacation. Happiness.

Lol..... I was once going to write a book on how everyone has certain food eccentricities.  My  mother hated avocados, mushrooms and liver.  All of which I love.  I won't eat sushi, raw oysters, escargot, and raw meat of any kind.   Have three ex'es that loathed mayo.  One of which also hated tomatoes, and one that also hates shrimp and grits.  Every one I know has certain things they just won't eat or even try.  It's how we're wired, I guess.
