I will tell you this about me personally...

I was a delegate to the GOP Texas State Convention in San Antonio in 2004.
All in all it was a great experience. But something very odd and disturbing
happened at the last general session on the last day.  I won't go into detail.
Suffice it to say that it revealed the same elitist uncaring inhumane attitude
that I see in the GOP's tax cut for the rich, especially in the GOP's LYING to
the American people to get it passed.  And for the short time I've been here
I have seen that same attitude demonstrated again and again on this forum.

First, they are already good at protecting themselves from the taxman's bite.

Second, the stock market has been pumped up by the banks that got all that QE money and they'll stick around because they aren't paying taxes on equity invested, it is only when they cash out they get stung. They'll keep buying new Congressmen until they get a favorable place to jump off.
