Frank Sinatra told Donald Trump to 'go f*** himself' after the business mogul complained that he was paying too much to feature the singer at the opening of his Atlantic City casino, according to a new book.

In 'The Way it Was', due to be released on October 24, Elie Weisman, who managed the Chairman of the Board from 1975 to 1998, recounted the incident, which occurred 1990.

Sinatra had planned to perform at the opening of Trump's Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, along with fellow Rat Pack member Sammy Davis Jr and vocal duet Steve and Eydie, reported the New York Daily News.

Allegedly, Paul Anka warned Weisman at Etess's funeral that the manager was about to learn the meaning of 'The Art of the Deal', Trump's business deal-making book.

And now America is learning that meaning too.

What's the big deal? Trump was right here. Sinatra was not cool in the 80's. They mocked him on SNL and people didn't give a shit about the Rat Pack. I also agree with this statement Donny made....

'Who's Steve and Eydie?' Wesiman recalls Trump asking.

Only geriatrics and nit wits would be excited to see those two back then.

Ok, first off that version of Blackhole Sun is awful.  I'm 43 and even I have heard of Steve and Eydie.  But, what was the target audience of the casino opening?  I would have thought retired rich folks; my grandparents would have been in their early 60s in 1990 and they were the ones who listened to Frank, Sammy and Steve & Eydie. Seems like the right fit to me for that age group.
