New- Vegas Shooter's Brother Speaks - Weird Interview
« on: October 04, 2017, 05:48:34 pm »
Bizarre.

Quote
Eric Paddock, the scumbag's brother, gives a strange 33 minute interview to reporters outside his home. I would be very surprised if there was no history of mental illness in this family...

The brother sounds drunk in this interview. He could simply be overwhelmed with everything.

Interesting comment at about 13 minutes: "if he found out he had brain cancer and had six months to live, he wouldn't go to the hospital, he would just die, that's just how he was"..

It sounded like he was making an analogy, but I wonder if he was revealing something?

He mentions a brain tumor again at the 18 minute mark.

Did he say he hoped his brother had a brain tumor?  (As a form of explanation for why he would do such a hideous thing?)

A tumor on the frontal lobe could change moral judgment and behavior.

Character still matters.  It always matters.

Yep, he mentioned it a couple of times as an analogy or hoping this was an explanation, but bringing it up a few times, I wonder if he knows something.

Either way, that interview was bizarre.

A Phineas Gage parallel?  ^-^

(I think the guy is just distraught.  That's the way he seemed to me anyway).
